Luxury !!

The sight of the working fridge indicates that for the first time in 4 1/2 months we have proper power. Until a month ago we did have lights and battery power for our phones, then that generator was stolen - since then we have had a small amount of power for some lights.

So we were delighted to get the new generator on Wednesday. - For 12 hours eveything was well - then the jeep broke down - This is Africa!!!

Kit-Aid

These are children at a local primary school proudly wearing a new football kit that we presented to them last week.

Out-of-date football stripes are donated through "Kit-aid" and we have been able to present 3 schools so far with this. Football is a universal language!!

Working

I know some of you think that when there's not a team here we lie on the beach - here is evidence to the contrary - Daniel and I working on the roof of the hospital.

Mosquito nets

At Dr Elmer's hospital (see Dec posts), the patients are leaving the hospital with malaria - even if they don't come in with it so we fitted mosquito nets for all the beds.

Birthday

We spent my birthday at No 2 River Beach.
