Contrasts
We have spent this week making visits to places that we might take the team.
We have had some good meals and some poor meals (The Rising Sun english pub is particularly excellent!) We have visited some very rich areas (see the picture at the Royal Palace) and some poor villages (ox-cart transporting harvested rice). We have had some efficient service (visa renewal) and waited around for ages for something to happen. We have had immediate success and frustrating failures. ... All part of Cambodian life.

hi linda, thought i ought to write this morning as i am off to cornwall tomorrow, then South africa a few hours after i arrive back. our accomodation plans have changed and now we have to 'slum it' in a beach house for week 3, where they go whale watching. i only hope we can cope!!!!
God is good eh?
so i trust life is getting into a routine and things are starting to make sense out there. when does the first teams arrive?
i have had holly back for christmas it's great, but she and tim are always out to dinner somewhere, so i won't see her now until we get to cornwall. which is why i'm getting on with this note, as i won't get to a computer probably.
i fly out to south africa a few hours after we get home from cornwall!!
but i am very excited all but about £5 of the flight money has come in from various places (God is so faithful)
anyways ~
a very happy and blessed new year to you all out there.
love ali p
